Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. This policy explains which cookies Up & Under uses, why, and how to manage them.
1. Essential cookies
These cookies are required for the service to function. They cannot be disabled.
- Supabase authentication: keeps you logged in across sessions.
- Session cookies: maintain your in-app state (current page, open dialogs).
- Consent preferences: remembers your cookie choices so we don't ask again.
- CSRF protection: prevents cross-site request forgery.
2. Analytics cookies (measurement)
With your consent, we use PostHog to understand how people use the platform — which features are used, where users get stuck, and what to improve. These cookies do not identify you personally.
You can grant or withdraw consent at any time via the cookie settings link.
3. Marketing cookies
Up & Under does not currently use marketing or advertising cookies. If we introduce them in future we will ask for consent first.
4. Managing your preferences
You can manage cookie preferences in two ways:
- Through the cookie banner that appears when you first visit the site.
- By opening the cookie preferences dialog — link in the site footer (coming soon).
- Through your browser settings — most browsers allow you to block or delete cookies.
Blocking essential cookies may prevent the service from working correctly.
5. Third-party cookies
Some features rely on third parties (Supabase, Vercel, PostHog). Each sets its own cookies under its own privacy policy. See our Privacy Policy for the list of processors.
6. Changes
We may update this policy when new cookie categories are added or when our technology stack changes.
